No strangers to the Cedar stage, the brilliant musicians of Irish-American band Solas return! The group has continued to expand upon their Shamrock City project. This is a new music and film project based on the mining history of Butte MT, and ultimately aimed at creating a more meaningful and open dialogue about many of the issues we face in today's America, especially those concerning the lives and stories of immigrants. Founders Seamus Egan (flute, tenor banjo, mandolin, whistle, guitar and bodhran), and Winifred Horan (fiddle) will be joined by Mick McAuley from Kilkenny (accordion and concertina), Eamon McElholm from Tyrone (guitar and keyboards), and the group's newest member, vocalist Niamh Varian-Barry.
The Cedar is now air-conditioned for your year-round comfort!
